It was truly a house of horror. It was the filthiest place I have ever seen. The bedding had huge brown blotches of stains on it. Then I looked in the bathroom and found a yellowish ooze in the tub, which obviously also had not been cleaned. We arrived at 2am on spring forward night which means upon arrival time changed to 3am... we were able to check in successfully. I was so happy to see this and I got a cup and as I started pouring the stuff that came out smelled so terrible I didn\u2019t even have the nerve to taste it. From the smell of the tea it had been sitting at room temp for several days at least. We got to the room... the pillows were terrible and tiny. The beds were full size not queen and there were throw pillow sized pillows on the bed... that\u2019s it. Not a single standard size pillow in the room. They were also flat. The box spring was showing from the sides and the cover on it had several ripped places... the room looked as though it had been thru the ringer a few times. We were tired. Now mind you I have platinum status with the loyalty program which boasts late check out.. we requested late check out. At 11:05 the lady from front desk was knocking on the door and said we could have until 11:30 to be out... 11:30? Thirty minutes? Late check out with my status has never been only 30 minutes? They offer no respect for loyalty here... the hair dryer didn\u2019t even work. We requested a hair dryer with front desk and they took us to another room instead of offering a working hair dryer. There were shoes under the sink in the other room. Not sure who they belonged to or if the room was checked out or what... the only person to be remotely nice at all was the housekeeper. She actually apologized for the experience and noted that she felt the incident was embarrassing. This was not my worst ever experience in a hotel period but it was bad enough that I\u2019ll never stay there again. Oh. The door was off the freezer portion of the mini fridge and it was frosted up. Found an old carton of McDonald\u2019s food in the microwave and shower\/tub had rust coming through. Informed front desk and we were moved to another room which appeared cleaner as tub not rusted, fridge was clean and door on freezer portion and no frost in freezer. The A\/C unit in this room cooled it down nicely. However, walking across room I kicked a dog turd which was dried up-tossed that into the trash but finding it in the room made it hard to feel clean in the room-I don\u2019t know their pet policy, so it\u2019s possible someone snuck pet into room but I would hope with thorough cleaning you\u2019d have found it. We brought our food as we were out hiking in the parks and wanted to be able to eat without driving back to a town; however the day of checkout on Sat., it had stormed, many roads flooded and hotel had many guests compared to during week when there were only 4-6 there. Out of coffee, only a few pastries were put out, I didn\u2019t see any oatmeal, apples and waffles in pastry bin to...
